PhysiChem (Beijing) Instrument Co. Ltd. participate 2021 International Forum on Graphene in ShenZhen

On April 8, 2021 PhysiChem (Beijing) Instrument Co. Ltd. brings its state-of-art Automatic Surface Area and Pore Size Analyzer, iPore 400 Automatic Intelligent Degasser 26 to take part in 2021 International Forum on Graphene in ShenZhen.

As everyone know, we have a lot of knowledge on carbon/graphite for many years. Many researchers have been trying so many methods to get graphene, a single layer of atoms graphite for so many years, but no success. Until 10 years ago, Prof. Andre Geim and Prof. Konstantin Novoselov from The University of Manchester in UK finally found out how to get graphene. Just because of the achievements , two professors were awarded 2010 Nobel Prize in Physics.

Graphene is an allotrope of carbon consisting of a single layer of atoms arranged in a two-dimensional honeycomb lattice. The name is a portmanteau of "graphite" and the suffix -ene, reflecting the fact that the graphite allotrope of carbon consists of stacked graphene layers.

Graphene is a form of carbon. As a material it is completely new – not only the thinnest ever but also the strongest. As a conductor of electricity it performs as well as copper. As a conductor of heat it outperforms all other known materials. It is almost completely transparent, yet so dense that not even helium, the smallest gas atom, can pass through it. Carbon, the basis of all known life on earth, has surprised us once again.

As everyone can see from above, Graphene has great applications in many industries. The key to do Graphene research is to learn its surface area and pore size by means of iPore 400, automatic surface area and pore size analyzer.

iPore 400, the state-of-art automatic surface area and pore size analyzer is an ideal research tool for graphene. If you have any questions regarding iPore 400, Please come and visit PhysiChem booth at 2021 International Forum on Graphene in ShenZhen Or visit WWW.PHYSI-CHEM.COM, to learn more details. Also you are welcome to call 4008-110-669 if you are in China,to consult our engineers to make appointment for demo. PhysiChem’s technical team will be more happy to work with you.
